Tuna Casserole

After watching Curtis on Top Chef Canada with his Tuna Casserole, I felt obliged to make an easy-non-top-chef version.

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  1. 1 can tuna (5 – 7 ounces)
  2. 1 cup cottage cheese
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 2 slices bread
  5. 2 tbsp butterย 
  6. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  7. Optional: spices to taste/ melted cheese on top

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Faherenheit
  2. Beat eggs, add cottage cheese and drained canned tuna
  3. Add salt, pepper, and any other desired spice/herb
  4. Tear bread into small pieces and mix in
  5. Grease baking pan with 1 tbsp butter
  6. Pour in mixture
  7. Melt 1 tbsp butter with breadcrumb and pour over
  8. Sprinkle with paprika
  9. Bake for 1 hour
